This empire line silk velvet evening dress is perfect for a formal black tie special occasion. The tiny bodice is made from hand painted and hand pleated silk with strong bands of beading around the neckline and under the bust. The full bias skirt is in a richly painted and printed velvet. The colour of this gown is inspired by the wonderful blue colours that you might see on a beautifully painted icon. The print is an all over design, in a metallic gold.
