A Unique Silk Bedspread.

This lustrous pleated silk bedspread is made from hand painted silk that is finely hand pleated. The resultant fabric was then sculpted into swirls and waves of gold forming this unusual, unique luxurious interior art piece. This bedcover took hundreds of hours to complete and is for the luxury home decoration that can never be repeated. The hand painted and printed curtains in this guest bedroom in the Lester's home were also made in the studios in Abergavenny. Employing their technique of hand painting the silk the colour was applied in layers to give the rich and luxurious metallic gold colour. The cloth was then hand painted in metallic pigments giving the effect of decorative toffee paper.

Opulent Interior Decor Pieces.

Such opulent pieces are made to commission only, working closely with individuals or their interior decorators. Such pieces take a long time to make and plenty of time should be allowed from conception to completion dates. This bedspread was particularly difficult to construct - taking three people five months to complete. Such pieces are therefore as expensive as they look.
