One by one we dream Of silken rainbows and painted promises Of wishes fulfilled and fantasies One by one just for me
A courtship of notions Choreographed artistry Symphonies colours sensations Sculpting elegance with grace
One by one melodies of magic Stitched intimately preciously, precisely Decorated with dancing echoes Of delicious memories to be
Love softly imprinted Swathes of rolling landscapes Glistening oceans swirling Floating kisses of blossom shades
One by one senses awaken Transformation in admiration Adorned with glittering appreciation As cloth and body marry and dance in harmony
One by one Each individually Crafted uniquely Just for me

The Luxury Textile Art of Charles and Patricia Lester

The art of Charles and Patricia Lester

The Art of ...

The journey began fifty years ago. A simple desire to create grown up clothes for children developed into the sophisticated luxury women’s wear designed today. One by one, each piece is crafted by hand by our small, specialist team. They produce unusual wearable art for discerning women around the world.

Luxury Wearable Art for Women

Luxurious, elegant and easy to wear. Each piece is crafted individually creating sumptuously sophisticated outfits for women of all shapes, all sizes and from all walks of life. The Lesters’ artistry appeals to those who do not always follow fashion but are instead seeking something that expresses who they are.

Seeing as you did so brilliantly with helping us find new names for colours, how about a name for a new style?

Just like any of our creations it can be made in any colour using a variety of prints so it is the shape of the garment that requires a specific identity.

So what do you think?
Other names we’ve used before range from classics like Florence, Venetian, Lauder and so on to things like Eccentric, Crazy, ( for asymmetrical styles), Anybody’s and soon.

Spring greens! The non-edible kind that tells of of the delights of warmer days and brighter sunshine on its way. At last! Time to get the paint palette out and create some new colours. It’s definitely the warmest day of the year here for a change. Spring has been a long time coming.

Is it any wonder that we love the Impressionists? Inspirations or just inspired by the same vibrancy of colour we all see in nature? Either way it was a delicious treat spending time at the National Gallery a couple of weeks ago and drinking in the colour and creativity.
